Oregon head Coach Chip Kelly gets Extension
Oregon head coach Chip Kelly has gotten a 6 year extension through 2015. He has been at Oregon ever since 2007. But he was just promoted to Head coach job last season. He led his team to a 10-3 season and to the Rose bowl against Ohio State and won the game. He came in 2007 from New Hampshire to become the teams offensive coordinator. Now after starting 4-0 this season Oregon decided to give him an extension so he wouldn't leave after this season is over. Now I think that this was a great choice that Oregon made because they have put the college in good hands these next few years. He is a great recruiter and that means he can line up big guys once all of his other great players leave. If I were Oregon I would have also gave him an extension. So this was overall a good decision.
