Florida Gators Unveil Tim Tebow Statue At Stadium
Tim Tebow all-time Florida Gators great gets a life-size statue outside the stadium. They also honored Steve Spurrier and Danny Wuerffel. Which all three of these UF stars have won a Heisman trophy. The statues which weigh between 1,700 and 2,000 pounds. The statues where placed on the West side of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium near the skybox entrance. Spurrier who was a 3 year starter threw over 37 TD's and 4,800 yards. Then Wuerffel who threw for more than 3,600 yards and 39 TD's. Tim Tebow in 2007 had thrown for 32 TD's and ran for 23 more. All in all, all these stars deserved these huge heavy bronze statues in honor of them and their great years at UF.
